Welcome to Laguna Coast the largest regeneration project in Cyclades. A place full of history The hill of Stelida on the west coast of Naxos, about three kilometres southwest of Chora, emerges as the center of the oldest known settlement and activity in the Central Aegean. This period covers not only the presence of the most modern humans (Homo sapiens), but also older Palaeolithic humans and Neanderthals. Laguna Coast is the place where everything started.

Laguna Coast Milestones
Pope Francis invited the representatives of Laguna coast Foundation to the Vatican so as to present him the course of actions and the collaborations of the foundation.
Since its establishment, the Laguna Coast Foundation, in collaboration with Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator S.A.(HEDNO S.A.), has successfully achieved the undergrounding of the medium-voltage power lines located in Laguna Naxos area. This action will protect migratory birds such as flamingos and wild ducks that visit the area, as well as the rare plants and unique herbs of the region from possible fires.
